Before fully committing to resizing all your product images, our Photo Resize app lets you try it out with no risk or cost. Here’s how you can test the app and see how it works for your store:
1. Check the 'Preview' of your images
The Preview feature lets you instantly see how your product images will look after resizing — without making any changes to your store.
How it works: After the app finishes analyzing your store, you'll be redirected to the main page where you'll see the image table. From there, you can automatically see how the images look like when resized.
What you'll see: By default, you'll see the 'After Photos'. But you can click the 'Before Photos' button to compare. This helps you decide if the settings are right for your store. By default, the app is set to resize images to square (1:1 aspect ratio) using Add Frame resize option. You can change this any time from the Settings page.
Important: The Preview feature is intended for visualization only. These changes are not applied to your store until you confirm them and proceed with resizing.
Pro tip: Try previewing a range of products, especially ones with different shapes and backgrounds, to see how the resize settings affect various images.
2. Use Your 50 Free Images
You can use your 50 free images to see how the resized images look in your actual store. You don’t have to pay or commit to anything to use these 50 free resizes.
How it works: Select up to 50 product images and click the 'Resize' button. This automatically updates your store with the resized photos, allowing you to see how your collections and product listings look with the newly resized photos.
What you'll see: By actually resizing your photos, you'll see how they'll look on your online store.
Pro tip: We highly recommend using your 50 free images on your hero or cover photos so you can quickly check how your main product pages and collections align and look together.
In Summary
Preview: Instantly visualize changes in-app before they go live.
50 Free Images: Apply real changes to your top images and see the results directly in your store.
With these features, you can confidently test the Pixc: Photo Resize app and make sure it’s right for you — before making any purchase.
